The pair, who have joined from Swindon Town and Luton Town respectively, came in for their debuts last week in the 3-1 win over Boreham Wood at Meadow Park.
Both players received plaudits from fans and pundits following the game and those sentiments have been echoed by the gaffer.
And Bradbury admitted that Jack James had not met the players prior to the game: “The most important thing from Jack’s point of view was that he never trained with the boys, never met them, basically turned up at Boreham Wood and played.
“From Chris Robertson’s point of view it’s his first game since pre-season. He got through it, he’s fine, he’s trained, ready to go again and he’s enjoying his football again at the moment which is great.
The gaffer also had praise for the contribution of Matt Paterson last weekend. Paterson scored the opener in the Hawks’ 3-1 triumph against Luke Garrard’s team.
“Pato came in on his debut and scored as well, so three pleasing performances and more of the same please.”
