The Hawks head into a pivotal game at Westleigh Park tomorrow afternoon as they face out of sorts Gloucester City. However the gaffer is all to aware of the threat that the Tigers will posses. “It’s always dangerous, they’re scrapping for their lives to try and stay in the league and that’s always a dangerous situation. They are a hard working, physical side and we beat them down there 1-0. I thought it was a hard fought game but we came away victorious but we’ve got to focus getting on another good run. We were on a good run despite the loss to Dartford, I was really pleased with the performance and the commitment the players showed and we need to do that again here against these to win because there’s no easy games in this league I know it is a cliche but there really are no easy games and we’ve got to be at the top of our game tomorrow.”

Despite defeat, the gaffer expects more of the same considering the performance put in against the league leaders. “I think we need to apply ourselves the same way and as I said after the game against Dartford if we play that way and with that much commitment and workrate every week, I honest think we will be up there come the end of the season. We just need to keep our levels where they’re at and like I said last week we would have beaten anyone in the league with that performance we just got to replicate that.”
