Lee Bradbury looks forward to continue the battle to go top of the league this Saturday away at Grays Athletic.
'Firstly looking back at the Harrow game on Tuesday, I thought we started the game really well, came out of the traps fast and created lots of opportunities, got our noses in front which is always the hard bit, and then we just couldn't seem to get the second goal, we had the majority of the play and the majority of chances, at half time i was happy with our performance except our finishing touch. Second half we just didn't defend properly, a rare mistake by Woody whose been very reliable throughout the season let them in to score which gave them a massive lift, they got their second 5 minutes from time from a set piece which we were really disappointed about as we pride ourselves on our defensive record and also defending set pieces, overall it was disappointing to concede so late, the only good thing is that our destiny is still in our control.
'Saturday see's us with another tough away fixture at Grays who are fighting for their survival at the moment, so it will be far from easy, they have had a couple of decent results lately, they have bought in some good quality loan players, the likes of John Ashton at the back, they are trying to pull away from the bottom and into safety, so we have to be ready, roll our sleeves up and get stuck in. We are all looking forward to the match and will be looking to bounce back straight away, and get another 3 points on the board. Update on the squad, Alfie Rutherford who came of at half time is touch and go whether he will be fit, both Jordan Rose and Dan Strugnell remain injured, we have picked up a few knocks but we have a great squad to choose from, this will give other players the opportunity to come in, show what they can do and try and keep the shirt.
