Lee Bradbury shares his thoughts on the pre season performance and tomorrow's match away at Leiston.
'We had a very good pre season, I was happy with the effort and performance of the lads. Although we had a bit of a wake up call against Hastings, which probably came at a good time. We have been consistent, yet unfortunately not against Hastings last Saturday. Hopefully that will give us a kick at the right time going forward to Saturday's match away at Leiston.
'I'm really pleased with the squad I've got, and i think it's a very exciting time for the club, to be honest we can't wait to get going now. The players have put me in a really difficult position in which one's to select, it's a great problem to have, probably the first time since iv'e been with the club I've had this problem, as in 3 or 4 center forwards all scoring goals, all looking sharp and raring to go, it's a difficult problem for me to have. What I will say is we have a lot of matches to play this year, probably 60 or more as we enter the cups in the earlier qualifying rounds, and i'm certain everybody will have a part to play.
' I went to watch Leiston recently. they have some good players, they are a good side a big strong team, and they are very competitive so it will be a tough start for us, they finished well last season and like every other team they will be looking for a good start.
' There is great positivity about this season, relegation hit me hard last season, not just me but the players, the supporters, in fact everyone involved at the club. Now we are raring to go and get back to where we should be, i am genuinely excited about the group we've got, they are younger, quicker, stronger and we are all pulling in the same direction, which is so important'.
