'i was pleased with the result on Saturday, Matt Paterson getting a hat-trick was fantastic for him, he's been really hard working and his confidence is flowing now, for a center forward to have that mind set of when he see's his chance he's going to score in invaluable. There were some good goals in the game and at 2 nil up I think we took our foot of the pedal a little, I don't want the players to do that, I want them to be at it for 95 minutes no matter what level we are playing at, I want the lads to have good habits. on Saturday we just came off it a little bit, and we nearly got punished for that, they got back in game and got their tails up, they hit the inside of the post which would have made it 3-2, that shook us into action a bit, and we went on and got a couple more goals. I'm being hyper critical but I do expect the players to perform week in week out, that's what good players and good teams do, and its up to me to bring it out of them every week, but to be fair they haven't let me down so far, I'm not complaining and overall i'm very pleased with the performance the goals and the result. Now i'm just hoping for a good draw today for the next round, it would be great to secure another home tie.
'Tomorrow I shall be playing a strong squad, they were 7 points clear at the top of their league, they have some really strong center forwards in their squad Rossy Cook and Sam Argent who have scored a lot of goals between them. So we will go to Hartney Wintney and give them respect but we also have to play our game plan, I think if we do that and with the right attitude we should win the game, they are at home and they are a much improved side since the last time we played them a couple of seasons ago, there will be a couple of changes but it will be a strong line up, we want to win the game and progress, obviously we are the holders of the Hampshire Senior Cup and I want that to continue.'
I asked Lee to update us on Dan Strugnell, Jason Prior and Wes Fogden.
'Foggy will be playing tomorrow, he will be starting, it will be good to see him back. Jason Prior is not quite ready, he might be fit for the weekend
