Havant and Waterlooville manager Lee Bradbury believes that victory over Leyton Orient would a great and realistic achievement.

The Hawks boss believes that anything the side can gain from the fixture at Westleigh Park would be a huge bonus to our quest to remain in The National League.

It’s an opportunity the gaffer cannot wait for.

Bradbury said: “What an opportunity to play a team like Leyton Orient at home is a great achievement for us.

“But, we can’t fear that factor. We’re going to embrace it, we’re going to look forward to it and we’re going to give it everything that we’ve got.”

The Havant manager was also complimentary of Justin Edinburgh’s side, noting how tough a challenge it is.

“I think they’re the best team we’ve played this year up at their place. They were excellent. Justin Edinburgh’s done a great job with them.

“But we’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain in our eyes, so we’re going to go for it and hope to upset them.”

The gaffer believes that anything gained out of tomorrow’s encounter will see us a pointer heavier.

“A point would be a good point, to beat them would be a fantastic achievement for us.

“We’re capable of it (beating Orient), we haven’t done fantastic against the top sides but that has got to change at some point and hopefully that will be tomorrow.”

Bradbury is also of the belief that a result against Orient sends out a statement to our relegation rivals.

“If we was to get a win here, it would make people look and think we may have turned a corner against these bigger sides.”
