Lee Bradbury is relishing the prospect of facing AFC Fylde tomorrow at Westleigh Park. Dave Challinor’s side finished in the National League play-offs last season and will be one of the fancied teams to be up there at the end of the season.

“It’s another team that last year were right up there and in the summer they’ve bought some good players in. I’ve watched the game that they played against Wrexham on Tuesday and are a good footballing side and good experienced, resolute and hardworking, they’ve got the full package.”

“It’s going to be another tough game just like that against Boreham Wood on Tuesday but we take confidence from that game and the way that we performed for 90 minutes.”

And the gaffer feels the hard working side and team spirit will help the side as the season goes on and in games of this calibre. “What we’ve got is a close nit group who works hard for each other and as a team we have quality and enough quality to give them problems.”

The team spirit has also been a key towards the Hawks’ quick progression in the 5thtier. “We’re learning every week and that’s important. I think the players learnt a lot from Tuesday Night which we’ve spoke about and that’s important because we learnt from the Barrow game and we have to learn quickly in this league because otherwise you get left behind if you don’t.”
