MATCH PREVIEW | Salford City

By Henry Deacon (@H_Deaconmedia)

Havant and Waterlooville will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on High Flying Salford City tomorrow afternoon at Moor Lane.

Lee Bradbury’s side lost their four game unbeaten streak in the league following defeat to Dagenham and Redbridge on Tuesday Night.

The Ammies come into the game flying in The National League. Graham Alexander’s side currently sit second in the table, just a solitary point behind leaders Leyton Orient.

Tomorrow’s clash is the meeting of last season’s National League North and South champions. Salford won the title in more conventional fashion after picking up the title with a game to spare, whilst the Hawks relied on an 89thminute strike to gain promotion.

And the Hawks will know that tomorrow’s game will be a tough 90 minute battle.

Salford came back from behind twice on Tuesday Night to secure a 3-2 win at home to Harrogate Town.

Adam Rooney tops the goal scoring charts for the Greater Manchester side. Rooney, who joined from Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen in the summer has netted for Salford 18 times in all competitions.

The Ammies have also won three of their last six in the league, but each of those wins have been backed up by draws.

Tickets for the game are £10 for Adults, and £5 for Concessions with fans under 5 gaining FREE admission.

In another piece of good news for Hawks supporters, Salford will not enforce segregation for tomorrow afternoons encounter.
