HAWKS second in command Shaun Gale previews this Saturday's home tie against Billericay.
'Touching on last weeks victory against Folkestone first, a fantastic performance by the lads i thought we played excellent football and did a professional job, we were worthy winners and a good 3 points.
'This we week we entertain Billericay, this will be a tough game, our home form has not been anywhere near as good as it should recently, but in saying that we have created hat-fulls of chances and had the balance of play, this week we need much of the same, we just need to convert our chances and be better in both boxes. We were obviously disappointed the way we defended against Needham Market in our last home game, but listen, we've moved on from that, the lads were fantastic last week, and we need to replicate the same performance at home this Saturday. Billericay will be a challenge, they have brought in a lot of new experienced players, they have got some very good players that have played at a higher level, so it won't be easy and we know it will be a tough afternoon'.
I asked Shaun to update us on the squad, as some players have been ill;
'George Barker was ill last week but is back in training, Dan Strugnell has trained a few times this week so hopefully will be available, Wes Fogden is back and finally Jason Prior who had to come off last week as he was ill is now back and feeling better, so overall we should have a full squad available for this Saturday. The pitch at this time is looking good, we have had the covers on most of the week and the groundsmen, volunteers and everyone at the club will work to make sure this weeks match goes ahead'.
