Manager’s Office: Wealdstone

Lee looks forward to Monday’s trip to Wealdstone

In a special look ahead of Monday’s trip, we as always will gather the thoughts of Hawks manager Lee Bradbury ahead of what will be a very tough task in hand.

I asked Lee about the game and whether the Hawks can raid all three points:

“It’s going to be tough, they’re a tough side. They are a decent team, got some good players. They have a very experienced manager, I think he’s been the manager there for 30 odd years, so he knows the league inside out and he’s got a really good catchment area in and around London and I think he’s proven that this close season by bringing in some good players and some astute signings, so, it will be

a tough game. The pitch is always good down at Wealdstone, hopefully a bit of dew on it and it’ll be nice to pass the ball quickly.”

In what is a quick turnaround for himself, the players and all in and around the club, the Hawks will make the trip to London tomorrow evening for a 7:45 kick-off. We hope that we can get as many supporters to the game as possible to get behind Bradbury’s Hawks army.
