With the HAWKS just a point off of top spot and confidence running high, Lee Bradbury called on the lads for another confident energetic performance, and that's exactly what they delivered.

A disappointing start to the afternoon as home debutante Jordan Rose pulled up in the warm up and had to be replaced by Andy Robinson.

Once again the HAWKS start the match with intensity and purpose, within the first 10 minutes there are chances for Jason Prior, Bradley Tarbuck and Brian Stock shaves the post with his 20 yard free kick. The first chance for Sudbury came on 20 minutes where Ryan Young was forced to make a great save to keep the score at 0-0. 3 minutes later Wes Fogden fires in a cross to the head of Jason Prior and the Sudbury keeper does well. A few minutes later and Havant and Wayerlooville earn a free kick on the goal line 15 yards out, Brian Stock crosses to the head of Ryan Woodford who is disappointed to see his effort hit the upright. with 10 minutes remaining of the first half Wes Foddens cross finds Rory Williams in acres of space, he strikes the ball and again finds the post. 42 minutes gone and the HAWKS find the goal they deserve, Brian Stock takes the corner, the ball is deflected into the air and Ryan Woodford is there to head the ball home and take a deserved 1-0 lead into the break.

Within 30 seconds of the kick off the HAWKS survive an early scare as Ryan Young agian pulls off a superb save to keep the home sides lead in tact. 5 minutes in Jason Prior crosses into the Sudbury area finding Bradley Tarbuck who in turn finds the back of the net and the HAWKS double their lead 2-0. With 59 minutes gone Havant and Waterlooville pile on the pressure, Marcus Garnham makes a great reflex save from a Rory Williams shot resulting in a HAWKS corner, the corner is fired in and Theo Lewis thumps the ball into the net and Havant and Waterlooville take a comfortable 3-0 lead. On 63 minutes Lee Bradbury makes a trademark double substitution bringing on Dave Carter and Matt Paterson for Brian Stock and Jason Prior. Havant and Waterlooville's relentless pressure is causing chaos in the Sudbury half, despite a 3-0 lead Havant and Waterlooville refuse to sit back and are rewarded again in the 71st minute with an audacious 40 strike from Bradley Tarbuck which finds the corner of the Sudbury net and the HAWKS go 4-0 to the good. A minute later Ben Swallow joins the field replacing Rory Williams. with 15 minutes to go Andy Robinson is brought down in the area for a HAWKS penalty, Matt Paterson picks the ball up and selfishly hands it to Bradley Tarbuck, Tarbuck strikes home for his hat-trick and the HAWKS take an unassailable 5-0 lead. Havant and Waterlooville feel their task is still not finished and continue to pepper the Sudbury area, just before the final whistle on 88 minutes Alfie Rutherford rises and heads home the HAWKS 6th goal of the afternoon.
