Player Bio

Age: 25

Dan is a former AFC Bournemouth defender who came to the Hawks on loan in December 2012 to provide cover for injuries to Ryan Woodford and Ed Harris. His loan was then extended to the end of January, and he ended up staying the rest of the season installing himself as a regular with 22 games under his belt by May.

His evident skill made it look unlikely that the Hawks would secure his services beyond the end of the season, but having been offered contracts by both Bournemouth and the Hawks in May 2013, to the delight of fans he opted to stay at Westleigh Park.

Since then he has become an integral member of the team and a firm fans favourite.

Dan would be play an integral role in the Hawks gaining back to back promotions in 2017 & 2018. In the Ryman League winning campaign he was the relied upon piece of the jigsaw as the Hawks pipped Bognor to the post before having to endure the 2017/18 season on the sidelines for most part. However Dan scored a crucial winning goal late on in the season at Welling United to keep the Hawks on top of the table with 4 games to go.
