Jason Prior has left Havant and Waterlooville to join Bostik Premier Division side Dorking Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

Prior, who will be best remembered by Hawks fans for scoring the goal that sent the club into the National League was unable to make the jump up to the fifth tier due to family and business reasons.

Prior joined the Hawks 2 years ago from Bognor Regis Town, scoring 25 goals in his first season at Westleigh Park as he helped steer the Hawks to the Ryman League championship before finishing the league’s second joint top scorer last season netting 22 goals in The National League South.

The club did offer Jason a new contract with these commitments in mind which Prior understandably turned down to focus on his family commitments. All at Havant and Waterlooville would like to thank Jason for his hard work during his time as a Hawks player, wish him well for the future and thank him for the memories.
