Hawks V Moneyfields Hampshire Senior Cup

By Henry Deacon (@H_Deaconmedia)

Havant and Waterlooville kick off their defence of the Hampshire Senior Cup tomorrow night when they take on Moneyfields at Westleigh Park (kick-off 19:45).

The Hawks are the reigning champions of this respective competition which marked the first of our unprecedented treble success last season, defeating Blackfield and Langley 3-0 at St Mary’s Stadium in April’s final.

The Hawks gaffer Lee Bradbury will use this competition as an aid for those players who haven’t been getting the desired minutes the opportunity to gain some match time under the lights at Westleigh Park with a key set of fixtures oncoming.

Up against the Hawks tomorrow evening is Dave Carter’s Moneyfields outfit. “Mobie’s” team have been flying since his appointment, now becoming one of the established sides in The Southern League Division 1. Saturday saw them gain a 2-2 draw away to high-flying Yate Town, with this game for the Money’s being a pre cursor for Saturday’s big FA Cup tie away to Hayes and Yeading.

Tickets for tomorrow night’s game is £10 for all and is available to buy on the turnstiles at Westleigh Park. Please be aware that only the main concourse turnstiles will be open for this fixture, The Westleigh however will be open as usual for the game.

Hope to see you all there!
