The Hawks turn their attention back to league action on Saturday when they visit Billericay Town.

Paul Doswell’s side have put their opening league result behind them and have since eased past Chatham Town in the FA Cup.

Summer signing Joe Iaciofano, who has started his career at the club superbly, already has four goals to his name. The 22-year-old will be itching to add to that tally against a side he found the net against last year for St Albans.

Dos’ men travel to Essex to face a side that picked up the joint fewest home defeats in the league last season before it was cut short due to the country going into lockdown.

After an opening day defeat at home to Tonbridge Angels, Ricay followed that up with an away defeat against Bath City.

Last campaign Billericay lost just one league game at home, and that incidentally came against the Hawks as Jonah Ayunga’s strike made the difference.

The Hawks are unbeaten so far this season and they will be hoping to extend that run as they search for early momentum in their promotion push to the National League.
