After a fantastic start to their pre-season with a win against Alresford Town thanks to a Jonah Ayunga brace, The Hawks will travel to Bognor Regis Town on Tuesday night to continue the 2019/20 season preparations.

It will be a great chance for Paul Doswell to find what he wants out of his side, as he builds the team he will think is capable of taking The Hawks back up to the National League.

The Hawks who have seen players come in and out of Westleigh Park all summer looked like a well drilled side already on Saturday as the new boys showed their class with a very strong performance. Something they will look to build on against The Rocks.

New manager Doswell rotated the squad as much as he could giving every player in the matchday squad some minutes on the pitch giving the fans a chance to familiarise themselves with the new faces.

The Rocks who play in the Bostik Premier Division will look to start their preseason fixtures with a big win at home on Tuesday as the squad will be eager to improve on their 14thplace finish last season.

The travelling Hawks fans showed up in their numbers on the terrace at Alrebury Park to create what was a great footballing atmosphere.

Doswell was especially pleased with the support shown: “I’ve been told our supporters do travel in good numbers and that’s really important to get to know people and seeing some happy faces about and it was a good turnout from us today.”

This Tuesday night clash will be a perfect build up to Saturday 13thwhere The Hawks will welcome Portsmouth to Westleigh Park.
