Physio Jake's Sky Dive for Prostate Cancer UK!!
In April 2018 Hawks' physio Jake Travis recieved the news that his father was diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer. In order to raise awareness for Prostate Cancer UK, Jake decided he was going to jump out of a plane 15,000ft in the air. Since setting up his just-giving page Jake has raised over £1,000 through kind donations which see's him increasing his target every month.
Between 2013-2015 there 47,700 new prostate cancer cases in the UK every year equalling to roughly 130 a day and more recent statistics show that 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime.
