Havant and Waterlooville are pleased to announce the signing of potent striker Danny Kedwell.

Kedwell joins the Hawks after the expiration of his contract with Ebbsfleet United.

The 35-year-old is known for being one of the most lethal strikers in the Non-League game over the past decade, where his success saw him play in The Football League with Gillingham.

Kedwell scored the winning penalty in the 2011 Conference Premier play-off final for AFC Wimbledon against Luton Town at the City of Manchester Stadium to send Wimbledon back into the Football League as a phoenix club.

His successes at Kingmeadow saw him earn the move to Priestfield and to Gillingham where he enjoyed four years at the Gills, scoring 40 goals in 119 appearances.

Danny’s next move would see him join Ebbsfleet where he scored 56 goals in 163 games, helping them to promotion into The National League as well as getting into the play-off semi-finals a year later before securing a top ten finish last term.

Everyone at the Hawks are thrilled to have Danny joining us at Westleigh Park.
