Havant & Waterlooville have drawn Cinderford Town at home in the third qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Trophy, with the match being scheduled for Saturday November 23.

The Foresters play in the BetVictor Southern League South which is two leagues below the National League South.

The team are managed by Paul Michael and currently sit in a firm 5th position in the league after securing 20 points after 11 games played.

The side from Causeway Ground started this seasons FA Trophy with a 1-1 draw against Highworth Town in the Preliminary Round at The Elms Recreational Ground. The replay was held three days later where The Foresters narrowly won by a margin of two goals to one.

In the first qualifying round of the competition it was more frustration as they were held to a 2-2 stalemate as they played Merthyr Town at home.

The two sides met again the following week in the replay this time at Penydarren Park, The Foresters yet again managed to find their way through after a thrilling encounter between the two sides ended 5-4.

Their latest game in the competition was played on November 9 against Potters Bar Town, it was more straight forward for The Foresters this time though, as they went through in normal time thanks to a Ben Watkins strike in the 63rd minute.

The Hawks will be looking to avoid the trauma of last season where a last-minute equaliser forced them into a replay with Dover which they went on to win.

Paul Doswell’s side will hope that they can show their class throughout the squad which they have displayed on many occasions so far this season on November 23 to take them into the next round of the competition.
