Havant and Waterlooville’s academy squandered a 2-0 lead to go on and lose 4-3 to Sutton United in a thrilling clash at the top of The National League Under 19 alliance. 

The Hawks went 2-0 up courtesy of goals from Logan Vickers and Sonny Harnett-Balkwill.

However, the leaders came fighting back scoring four goals without reply to go 4-2 in front.

Luke Richards scored an exquisite strike from 35 yards out to reduce the deficit to 4-3 before missing a guilt edged chance at the end to make it 4-4.

The result keeps the young Hawks fifth in the table on 22 points.
