Havant and Waterlooville FC are pleased to announce Horndean Technology College as our latest school partner.

Based in the heart of Horndean, the school will be handed 600 season tickets to be used for league games between now and the end of the season which will be distributed by their own accord.

On top of this we will also be allowing the students’ parents/guardians with a discounted entry of £6 for these league fixtures.

As well as getting tickets for games, the Hawks in the Community team, lead by Ross Betteridge, will also head into the school for assemblies and coaching lessons, with first team players also visiting the school on occasions.

First team manager Paul Doswell is really pleased to enrol another school onto this exciting scheme: “It’s fantastic.

“We met Cassy yesterday who is the head of PE at Horndean and we have delivered another 600 season tickets over six assemblies as it’s a big school.

“It’s great to partner up with them, it’s very similar to what we have done at Warblington, Havant Academy, Park Community and Cowplain. In total nearly 3,000 season tickets were given out to local children which is fantastic.

“We will also be going into each school as well taking multi skills football for both the boys and girls classes.

“Its a massive part of as a club what we’re trying to do which is getting more children involved at the Football Club. I think if you catch the support early then it will be great for the future of the club to come.”
