Havant and Waterlooville can announce that Tony Lee has joined the club on a dual registration contract with Poole Town.

Lee, who rejoined the Dolphins in the summer, has signed terms with the Hawks until the end of the campaign whilst it looks increasingly likely the Southern League Premier Division season has finished.

The 25-year-old has previous National League experience at Eastleigh, and will bolster the options Paul Doswell has up top.

Commenting on his signing, the Hawks manager said: “We’ve seen Tony’s career over the last few years and in these unusual times Poole isn’t playing at the moment so he gives us a good attacking option as a physical number 9.

“Someone like Tony can play National South but needs to be given the opportunity and if we want to add to squad depth of people training and being available then Tony comes very highly on that list.”

In further news, the Hawks can announce that Australian Aaryn Williams will be training with the Club. He has passed relevant Covid tests to be in the first team bubble, and is the brother of the Portsmouth player Ryan.

We welcome both to the Draper Tools Community Stadium.
