Havant & Waterlooville have signed attacker Ryan Seager on loan from Yeovil Town, the deal will be up until January and with injuries to key players such as Danny Kedwell he will be a great addition to the squad.

Seager revealed during his first interview with the club that he is excited to get regular game time: “I’m really pleased to get the deal over the line and to be here. I think it is what I need in my career now.

“I haven’t had regular career time in a while so I feel like I need to prove to myself and everyone that I can do it and I feel that Havant is the best place to do that.

Seager, who has represented England at youth level, also spoke on how he’s looking forward to working under Paul Doswell: “It’s a very tough league and Havant have had a really good start so I’m hoping to come in and help the team more.

“I’ve been welcomed very well into the club and obviously Paul Doswell and Ian Baird seem really good so I’m looking forward to get going.

The former Southampton academy player added how he wants to help the team achieve their goals: “I am excited, I haven’t played regular football in a while and I’m hoping to make an impact here and help the club win back promotion.

“I feel like I need to play a few games, score a few goals and get my name back out there and like I said I am really excited to do that with Havant.

“I’m looking forward to get going and tonight’s game [Hungerford Town (H)] would be the perfect one to start so hopefully we can carry on going and stay unbeaten.”

Seager is eligible to get straight into the action against Hungerford Town, so for a chance to see his potentially first game for The Hawks get down to Westleigh Park as football under the lights returns.
