Havant and Waterlooville manager Paul Doswell is hopeful that Danny Kedwell will resume full training next week. 

The Hawks boss has spoke to us about his recovery after being out with a medial injury for the last six weeks.

He had an injection on Saturday before resuming full training on Wednesday.

On Kedwell, Doswell said: “Danny went to see a surgeon the Saturday just gone. He had an injection put into his medial to make it ready for him to train.

“He trained with us yesterday and goes for a final scan today and hopefully if it shows up what we expect it to do he will be back in full training next week.

“It’s great for us, he’s been a big loss and it’s credit to Jonah and Roarie and Alfie for managing to step up to the plate whilst Danny has been out.”
