Havant and Waterlooville FC can confirm we have received information stating that The National League plans to restart its three divisions on Saturday October, 3. 

Step 2 sides, including the Hawks, will begin their campaign with an Emirates FA Cup tie, before kicking-off in The National League South.

The season will then conclude on Saturday, May 29 before the end of season play-offs taking place in June. It should be noted that at this stage, these dates are subject to FA approval.

The National League board have issued a five-step protocol for clubs to follow, based on the government’s COVID-19 guidance regarding recreational activities, for each team to determine when they will resume training and schedule friendly matches.

Government guidelines could see clubs needing to enforce measures such as reduced capacities and advanced ticket sales, once these have been communicated to member clubs we will relay these messages.
