The Hawks face a challenging trip to Ebbsfleet United this weekend, closing out a challenging run of three consecutive games on the road.

Havant are looking to get back to winning ways following a disappointing first defeat of the season last time out, a physical 1-0 loss away to 4th placed Chippenham Town on Monday.

Ebbsfleet also failed to maintain their winning start to the campaign, but retained their unbeaten record, securing a point in a 0-0 draw with Chelmsford City away from home.

Last season saw the two sides face-off against each other twice, and trading wins on both occasions.

The Hawks secured an impressive 3-0 in their last away visit to the Kuflink Stadium back in October last year, but it was Ebbsfleet that would come out on top in the two teams most recent encounter, running out 2-1 winners in the reverse fixture in February.

Havant will be hoping to avenge that late season defeat but it won’t be a straight-forward task against an Ebbsfleet team who have their own promotion ambitions and an 100% home record so far this campaign.

However, they will be aided by the absence of Midfielder Christian N’Guessan who was stretchered off with a suspected ankle injury on Monday.

The Hawks are likely to have absences of their own with Benny Read, Jamie Collins and Sam Magri expected to miss out, denying the latter a return to his former club.
