The Hawks are looking for a win after failing to pick up three points for five matches, as we take a tricky trip to Dulwich Hamlet.

The Hamlet, who have had a sticky run of form over the last 12 matches, has seen a shift in management. Last seasons’ title winning gaffer Hakan Hayrettin took the reins at Dulwich two matches ago, winning the first but falling to heavy defeat on the second. It was a Monday night trip to Chelmsford – five different scorers were on target for the Clarets. Brookes, Jones, Folivi, Trotter and Johnson put Simpson’s side 5-0 up, before Porter denied the clean sheet at the death.

It was midweek disappointment for the Hawks as St Albans visited the Draper Tools Community Stadium. A shocking first half display saw the Saints go into the break 1-0 up thanks to a Jeffers opener. The Hawks looked a different side in the second half, and Rooney levelled up the scores just a minute after the interval. A few shots were denied, and against the run of play, McConnell’s deflected strike ended up being the winner for St Albans.

HAWKS FORM: LDLLL

DULWICH FORM: LWLLL

In terms of team news, Doswell confirmed Matthews and Faal should be back from injury, and Charlie Ruff is finally back from suspension after missing three matches for his challenge at Bath.

The last time the two sides met, Dulwich were struggling and it was a rampant display for Dos’ men. Two from Roberts, two from Wright and a one from Faal was more than enough to breeze past Dulwich, despite a goal from Porter.
