Havant will make the trip to the Longmead Stadium on Saturday 24thAugust as they face a Tonbridge Angels side who currently sit 17th in the National League South.

The Hawks, who still have their unbeaten streak in the league, will hope to continue their impressive run but will have their eyes on all three points after being held to a draw three times out of the five games played.

The visitors will also be looking to get a few goals themselves on Saturday after being left frustrated as Chelmsford City shut them out to force a 0-0 draw. Despite the Hawks’ many attempts at the goal including the penalty The Clarets managed to keep them from scoring a vital goal at Westleigh Park.

The Angels will be looking to get their second win of the season after a disappointing start to the campaign with only one win and three defeats so far.

The home side will no doubt be able to put up a fight after their impressive promotion via the playoffs from the Isthmian Premier Division last season.

The Angels staged a crucial win at the Longmead Stadium as they ended Concord Rangers’ strong start to the campaign as they inflicted their first defeat on them in a 1-0 win. Following on from this result two match days ago they were also held to a 0-0 draw, meaning they will go into Saturdays game with confidence.

It was good news for Hawks fans this week as Danny Kedwell who suffered an injury on the first game of pre-season away to Alresford Town has joined back into training meaning he is a contender for the squad.

Paul Doswell who was pleased with the performance last week previewed the match against The Angels in midweek with Henry Deacon: “It will be more than tricky, I know Steve McKimm very well he is a fantastic manager at this level obviously with me for many years and was a brilliant and loyal assistant.

“They have got that desire to stay in this league and to compete and be disciplined, we know that come Saturday it will be a tough game and we are preparing exactly for that.”

The Hawks have an opportunity to climb up the table once more on Saturday so if you can’t get to the game make sure you follow the live radio broadcast straight from the Longmead Stadium at Hawks Radio and live updates on our twitter page @HWFCOfficial.
