Hawks beat visitors Hampton and Richmond Borough comfortably in a 2-0 win at Westleigh Park.
Wes Fogden grabbed the first goal from close range and Jonah Ayunga sealed all three points when he put away Havant’s second of the day.
The result means the Hawks stay in second place and go up to 64 points, five behind leaders Wealdstone.
Chris Paul coming in was the only change to Paul Doswell’s starting eleven since the 1-0 win against Billericay Town.
The first twenty minutes of the match were evenly contested and neither team had real urgency to grab an early goal.
Around the twentieth minute mark, a good cross was put into the opponents box which was flicked by Craig Robson into Dean Beckwith who’s header was dealt with by Henry.
This sparked a great spell for Havant as five minutes later Ayunga produced a great bit of skill to beat his man in the final third before firing a cross which unfortunately was cleared by the Beavers.
Another five minutes passed and the Hawks continued their search for the first goal with Josh Taylor who cut inside and saw his effort held by Hampton’s number one.
The Beavers were very much still in the contest with seven minutes left of the half as Hill tried his luck but Ross Worner calmly dealt with his effort.
HALF-TIME: Hawks 0-0 Hampton & RB
The first chance came six minutes into the interval when Taylor threw his trademark long throw to find Robson six yards out who ended up fouling the keeper in the process.
The best chance of the game arrived ten minutes later to half time substitute Alfie Rutherford who broke free down the right flank before unleashing a shot which flashed past the goal going just wide.
Only a minute later saw Sam Magri also have a header on target caught by Henry, only this time the keeper was quick to launch an attack for his side with a long kick towards Worner’s territory but the Hawks dealt with it well.
Around the seventieth minute mark the ball fell to Gray on the edge of the box who’s shot rippled the side netting sparking celebrations from the away end who thought it was the back of the net.
Six minutes after the false celebration saw Ayunga break free into the box and square it to teammate Fogden who squeezed it past the keeper to put the Hawks in the lead with thirteen minutes left to play.
Westleigh became tense with four minutes left to play but top goalscorer Ayunga was played through on goal and once again he slotted it home very calmly to secure all three points for the Hawks.
Referee Steven Hughes and his team added four minutes on to the ninety which saw Havant play with ease before his full time whistle.
