From the Manager

Havant and Waterlooville manager Paul Doswell has delivered a message to the fans to continue their support so far this season.

The Hawks boss is pleased with the support so far this season and understands how much of a commitment it is to travel to potentially three away games, two a fairly long distance, within a fortnight of Christmas Day.

The first of these is tomorrow afternoon when we make the trip to Chelmsford City in the Buildbase FA Trophy, and Dos hopes as many Hawks fans as they possibly can will make the trip to Melbourne Park.

“It is an expensive time of year for everybody, we all have to tighten our belts around Christmas time.

“If the fans can get to the games then it would be brilliant.

“It is a difficult ask, we appreciate that, Chelmsford this Saturday, Braintree next Saturday, Weymouth coming up away as well plus Hungerford away.

“We’ve got a real run of away games, except from Boxing Day, there’s five away games to one home game.

“As we’ve said all season, the away support hasn’t just been good in numbers, but fantastic vocally.

“I know there’s a coach going up tomorrow and hopefully the lads can give them the a nice reward by getting us through to the next round, or at least a result which will bring us back to Westleigh Park on Wednesday night.”
