Havant & Waterlooville signed Joe Iaciofano from St Albans City in the summer of 2020.
The striker started his career at Northampton Town after spending seven years in the club’s youth set up. During his three years at the club he went on a series of loan moves which featured successful spells at Chesham United and AFC Mansfield.
Iaciofano spent a short time with Chesham United between 2017 and 2018 where he made an impressive impact as he scored 15 times in 17 appearances.
After his departure from Chesham, the attacker experienced a tough patch at Brackley Town before joining Mansfield which is where he was able to showcase his talent in front of goal once again.
Iaciofano netted more times that he played games for the Northern Premier League club as his 12 appearances saw him bag 14 goals. His consistent performances at the club made an impact and his loan was extended.
Finally after five loan deals away from Northampton, it was time for the natural finisher to search for a more permanent home in the shape of National League South side St Albans City.
At City, Iaciofano rediscovered his goalscoring touch as he was named joint winner of the 2019/20 golden boot.
His excellent record caught the eye of Hawks manager Paul Doswell who decided he wanted to see him play at Westleigh Park.
