Tommy Wright joined Havant & Waterlooville in the summer of 2020 from Sutton United who he made an incredible 100 appearances for.

The forward scored an impressive eight goals out of the 22 appearances he made for The U’s this campaign in all competitions.

Wright who has experience on an international level with the England C team has impressed many throughout his time with different clubs through his goalscoring abilities.

Before his time at Sutton, Wright, had represented Otterbourne in the Hampshire Senior League as well as Salisbury City in the Southern League.

During his spell at City, he put his attacking talents on show as he racked up a tally of 50 goals and helped them reach the Southern League play-offs.

Wright continued to display his relentlessness in front of goal when playing at the difficult level of National League football.

He bagged himself 19 goals from the league and cup games which made him the deserved winner of the Young Player of The Year Trophy at the National Games awards for the 2017/18 season.

The eye-catching performances also earned him the call up to the England C team at the end of May 2018 where he made his debut against Ireland.

Wright is sure to add to The Hawks’ attacking threat for the upcoming season and give the team another talented attacking outlet.
