Havant and Waterlooville are pleased to announce the signing of Midfielder Sam Dowridge on a two-year contract.

Sam, who was initially on trial for two weeks, impressed the management team so much that he will be a permanent acquisition for the Hawks. Initially he will be loaned out to Bognor Regis Town in order to get first team minutes before pushing for a place in Dos’ starting XI.

Commenting on his move, Dowridge said: “I’m buzzing to be here, it’s a great opportunity for me to show what I can do and to kick start my career.”

Manager Paul Doswell said: “I’m very excited to sign Sam, another 20 year-old to fit in with what we’re trying to do here to give people that second chance and I believe Sam really could be one of the ones to come through.”
