Havant & Waterlooville are back on the road as they make the trip to Arbour Park for National League South action against Slough Town on Saturday.

The tie is a mouth-watering clash for all involved as a win for both sides would give their promotion hopes a huge boost.

The Hawks currently find themselves 3rd in the division with Slough Town sitting just above them in 2nd spot.

Paul Doswell’s side continued their run of strong form when they hosted Dulwich Hamlet, it was a game that ended 0-0 but gave The Hawks a valuable point near the top of the league.

The Rebels have enjoyed a very successful season so far which is reflected in their league position.

It has been a stellar campaign for Saturday’s hosts and a significant improvement on their 11thplace finish in division last year.

The Rebels will be motivated to earn what would be one of their biggest results of the season as it would give them a huge promotion push.

Neil Baker and Jon Underwood’s’ side witnessed their side claim a vital three points in their last league outing with a 2-1 victory away to Welling United.

The scoring was opened by Dan Roberts in the 27thminute for The Rebels but Cameron James equalised for the hosts five minutes before the break.

Thankfully for the visitors the man who broke the deadlock was on hand to provide the winner after converting a penalty in the 74thminute.
