Paul Doswell’s side secured all three points in last weeks match after an 81st minute header from central defender Sam Magri gave the home side the deserved win.

After picking up the crucial three points The Hawks remain in 5th position on 26 points but with a game in hand over the two teams above them Saturday is a big opportunity to take flight up the division with a possible third spot up for grabs.

Our opponents have endured a difficult first few months this campaign as they currently sit one spot above the relegation zone in 20th

However, after claiming their third win of the season last time out they will be fully motivated to build on it with a shock result in front of their home crowd.

The Saints took all three points after a slim 1-0 win over Welling United away from home, meaning they will be full of confidence coming into the weekends match up.

Striker Danny Kedwell who has popped up with some key goals this season had some good news to give Hawks fans this week.

“I tried to come back a bit too early because I was gutted from the injury, I was playing, and my knee wasn’t right.

“I was not at my 100% but when I look at it now and some of the games I have played in like the Maidstone and Wealdstone game I’ve scored, and it made me want to keep going on.

“Saturday was the first time I had no pain in my knee so that’s a good start. For myself coming to club and not getting to do what I wanted from the beginning after being injured in the first preseason game.

“I was devastated but I’m back now and hopefully I can push on and help move the team forward.”
