Last week the National League published the outcome of the voting on its resolutions and declared the National Leagues North and South 2020/2021 season ‘null and void’, ceasing with immediate effect.

Whilst we understand that this news will have come as a significant disappointment to all our supporters, commercial sponsors and dedicated staff, it is all also subject to ratification from the FA which is still ongoing at this time.

We’d like to thank all our supporters this year, in particular our valued Season Ticket Holders, without whom the 2020/2021 season would not have been possible. We appreciate it has been a year quite unlike any other in the history of the Club, which makes their commitment and support all the more exceptional.

We’d also like to thank our staff and volunteers who have worked incredibly hard this season to date, their continued commitment and resolve in such difficult circumstances has been remarkable.

We are currently processing the 2020/2021 season update from the National League and are awaiting the outcome from the FA Council on ratification. In the meantime, there is much for us to take into consideration regarding our next steps and in providing a further update for our supporters with the Club’s plans and further reactions to the cessation of the season, which will be made in due course.
