The Club met early this morning to discuss the resolutions put forward by the National League. We have decided to vote against resolution 1, resolution 3 and resolution 4.

As a Football Club, we’d like to clarify our position, which is to continue playing the 2020/2021 season and as such, we’ll be confirming this as our response to the resolutions proposed by the National League later today.

Following our latest self-imposed isolation period, we said we’d review the decision based around safety at that time. Over the last two weeks the health of all those at the Club have greatly improved, along with a significant reduction in Covid case numbers locally.

However, we do hope that mandatory testing will be made available, as we previously said, this has nothing to do with financial issues as we are, and always have been, a very well-run football club.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our supporters for their patience, we very much hope that you are all keeping safe and well and will be joining us in supporting the Hawks later this afternoon.
