Havant & Waterlooville FC will look to continue their winning run, which is now at three matches, as they travel to Park View Road to face Welling United in the Vanarama National League South tomorrow.

Looking back at last Saturday’s victory at home to Oxford City, the Hawks will be buoyed by an inspired second half performance to win 2-1 with goals from Sam Magri and Tommy Wright.

They will now look to close the gap of nine points to those at the top of the table, albeit having four games in hand over leaders Dartford.

They will face a Welling side, which on the balance of play, will be disappointed not to take all three points at home to Billericay Town on Tuesday night. Goals from Cook and Liburd looked to have secured the win, only for a late penalty to deny Welling their deserved three points.

The Hawks will look to kick on with their excellent away form in the league last season. Last time on their travels, they suffered a 2-1 defeat at leaders Dartford, and will look for all three points to push their promotion chances, and to carry momentum on to an important FA Cup tie the following weekend.

The previous meeting was all the way back on the opening day of last season at the Draper Tools Community Stadium, where the sides played out a 1-1 draw. A crowd of 1352 saw Roarie Deacon score for the Hawks, but this time around they will be looking for all three points.
