Hawks manager Paul Doswell is pleased to announce that Academy players Marvin Orepo and Oliver Eyres will be training with the First Team at the start of pre-season.

The pair are from the Havant and South Downs team and following fine seasons, Doswell has invited them to join the First Team ahead of the start of the new season to get a taste of the environment.

Both players have been involved with the First Team before, both playing as part of the Hawks’ victorious Hampshire Senior Cup campaign last season, with Eyres playing a starring role in the semi-final victory against Sholing.

Commenting on this, Doswell said: “We’ve got two of the Academy boys coming in to join us.

“Marvin Orepo’s coming in, who has been rather successful in the academy team down at HSDC College and also Ollie Eyres is coming in – the goalkeeper.

“Again, that first little bit of the two academy boys training with the first team is really important.”
