Green joins the Hawks ahead of the 2021/22 campaign after leaving National League side Eastleigh, where he spent the last 10 years of his career. 

The left-back became a fan favourite with the Spitfires following his arrival back in 2011 going on to make over 370 club appearances, as well as help them win promotion to the National League back in 2014.

The 32-year-old linked up with his new team-mates on Monday as pre-season got underway. Upon his arrival, he said: “I’m very excited! With the ambition of the club aiming for promotion, it’s a great time to be here and get out there playing football.”

Manager Paul Doswell said: “ I’ve always rated him, I know him well and actually I played with his Dad, so I know him really well – he’s got a wonderful left foot which is exactly what we need.”
