Havant & Waterlooville continue their National League South season this weekend as they make the trip to Braintree Town at Cressing Road.

The Hawks’ last outing was a disappointing one as they were knocked out of the FA Trophy following a narrow loss to Chelmsford City earlier this month.

The Hawks are currently in third position in the league with two games in hand over the two sides above them in the league due to games being postponed due to poor weather.

Three points for the Hawks would be huge for their season and would take them up to second in the division.

The Irons will be very motivated to climb up the table themselves and three points of the weekend would help them massively.

George Borg’s men currently sit in 10th position in the league on a total of 26 points, however after losing their last three league matches in a row, they will be eager to put their poor run of form behind them in front of the home crowd.

The Irons are familiar opponents for The Hawks after competing in the National League last campaign.
