Havant and Waterlooville will welcome spectators back to the terraces when Chelmsford City visit the Draper Tools Community Stadium on Saturday.

The Hawks will look for their first win in three against a Clarets side who saw their midweek clash with Billericay called off due to COVID-19 concerns.

Chelmsford have lost each of their last three games in The National League South with ex player Robbie Simpson making the transition to the dugout at Melbourne Road.

The last four meetings between the two sides are split evenly, with both getting a win sandwiched between two draws – both coming at PO9. The Hawks will fondly remember their trip to Essex in April 2018 where a 2-0 win firmly set them on their way to National League promotion.

The game will be the first Hawks fixture on 3G with fans present after the new change in Government restrictions in terms of supporters in stadiums. After gaining the relevant certificates from the authorities, the Draper Tools Community Stadium is safe and ready to welcome spectators once again.

Due to risk of inter community transmission, away supporters will not be allowed access to the ground but Hawks fans will be able to make their voices heard on the terraces.

The last home game with spectators was on March 7, when two second half strikes ensured a 2-0 win over Hampton and Richmond.

Supporters are encouraged to read the signage and watch the safety briefing video provided before arriving at the ground, which we recommend should be done with plenty of time to spare.
