Havant & Waterlooville turn their sights back onto National League South action on Tuesday as they travel to Champion Hill to face Dulwich Hamlet.

The Hawks come off the back of a disappointing 2-1 loss at the hands of Chelmsford City in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

However, this league fixture is huge for The Hawks as they continue to push for top spot.

Paul Doswell’s men currently sit in third position with two games in hand on the sides above them in the league.

Three points on Tuesday will bring The Hawks up to second position in the table with only seven points separating them from league leaders Wealdstone.

Dulwich Hamlet will be a very tough game for the side from Westleigh Park as they have failed to win in their last five matches, meaning they will be looking to put their season back on track with a win.

The Hamlet are currently in 19th position in the table due to their poor form but there is no doubt that Gavin Rose will be looking to recreate the form of last season when they finished in 14th.

The hosts also witnessed a tough exit out of the FA Trophy as they lost by a narrow margin of one goal to nil against AFC Hornchurch at the Hornchurch Stadium.

Doswell has made his intentions of winning the game very clear, stating that defeats to The Hamlet earlier on in the season need putting right.

“We owe Dulwich one from the FA Cup, and the lads will come back very motivated to seek something out of the game.

“It’s important away from home to pick up points which we’ve done, where we’re unbeaten in the league.”
