The Hawks return to behind closed doors action on Saturday when they face Ebbsfleet United in The Vanarama National League South at the Kuflink Stadium.

The Fleet are based in tier three Kent meaning spectators will not be present at the fixture.

On the pitch, Saturday will mark the first game for the hosts since coming back from a period of self-isolation, with their last game a 1-0 home defeat to Tonbridge Angels on November 23.

Ebbsfleet find themselves ninth in the table, a point above the Hawks at the start of play but have played a game more.

They’ve lost only one of their last five games, that coming last time out, but have only won two of those games.

A win for the Hawks, and a positive swing in results could see Paul Doswell’s side in the play-offs for the first time this season as we catch up on the fixture pile-up.

The visitors are third in the National League South form table, picking up 10 points from their last six, with a solitary defeat against Hemel Hempstead scuppering a near perfect record in the league over recent weeks.

Due to the latest COVID-19 guidance, the game is being played behind closed doors, however, a live stream will be put on so Hawks fans don’t miss a second of the action. Click here to buy
