Havant and Waterlooville FC are to provide thousands of free children’s season tickets to local schools and youth teams this week.

The community project powered by the Club and their Community Partners, aims to provide children with the opportunity to come and enjoy watching their local team play and become part of the Havant and Waterlooville FC family.

The pandemic has been especially hard for children who’ve not been able to go school, see friends or participate in their favourite activities. The Club hopes to shine a beacon of positivity in what has been a difficult time for everyone.

The ticket gives children free entry along with half price discounted entry for their parents to all our home League matches.

Charlotte Chandler, Commercial and Marketing Manager, said “It’s a pleasure to be able to support our local community in this way. It means a great deal to us and our Community Partners that we’re able give back, especially to children who’ve had their world turned upside down over the last eighteen months, if we can make a small difference that brings a little joy and happiness, I’d be very pleased”.

This project is one of many community led initiatives that the Football Club are embarking on with the support of their Community Partners, Paris Smith, Snows, Gibbs and Dandy, Cummins & Pope, Drew Smith, Four London Road and Draper Tools.
