Havant and Waterlooville FC are pleased that the sixth School to be signed up to our new partnership is Cowplain School.

Established in 1930, the school has 1071 pupils between the ages of 11-16.

The partnership will see the school enjoy free season tickets for students and £6 admission for parents/guardians and visits from the club for school assemblies, coaching and fun after school sessions.

Mr Moger, head of PE at the school, is pleased with this link up: “It’s fantastic. It’s a really good opportunity for our students to come here each week and be able to watch the football is a really great experience for them.

“We’re really, really pleased with the partnership which we have set up.”

First team manager Paul Doswell is also really pleased with this partnership, which continues to underlay the clubs commitment to working with the local community: “We’ve had a busy week. That’s six of the most local schools that we’ve got now.

“Mr Moger (Cowplain school) came into the office today and picked up his 400 tickets and that’s another partnership which we’ve got with the school where we’re going to go in there and help the school with their coaching and hopefully get their children along and be future fans.”

This is the sixth school the club will be in partnership with alongside Warblington School, Havant Academy, Horndean Technology College, Park Community School and Crookhorn School.

Over 3,000 season tickets have been given out to these schools for the upcoming season.
