The Hawks Community Foundation, the charitable arm of Havant and Waterlooville FC, were delighted to receive a generous donation from long-term grassroots football advocates Bishops Printers.

Bishops Printers kind donation has been utilised to purchase much needed new coaching equipment and supplies that will now be enjoyed by all the children taking part in the clubs community outreach projects.

The club currently provide fun football holiday courses throughout the school holidays supporting many local working parents with safe and secure childcare for their children. These youngsters are the first to benefit from the new equipment that will also go on to have a direct impact within the clubs community coaching sessions at local schools this coming September.

Bishops Printers has been a family run business in the city of Portsmouth since 1985, growing from humble beginnings with a staff of just three. They now employ over 170 people at their impressive 85,000 square foot facility.

While the business has grown, their traditional family values have remained steadfast over the years that include exceptional customer service, affordability and a passion for their local community. Bishops Printers have long been proud supporters of the non-league and grassroots football scene believing that the sport plays a vital role in bringing people together from all walks of life and securing these relationships for future generations to come.

Martin Murphy, Chairman of Bishops Printers said; “The success of our national team, as well as that of our local clubs, relies on the strength of grass-roots football. I’m delighted to have played a small part in supporting The Hawk’s fantastic community outreach programme. Who knows – it may uncover our next Mason Mount!”

The Hawks Community Foundation is exceptionally grateful of Martin Murphy’s kind donation and as you can see already – it’s brought smiles, fun and laughter to all the children.
