Havant and Waterlooville Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of Billy Clifford. 

Clifford joins the Club from Wealdstone where he played a role in winning them The National League South as well as being voted in the divisions team of the year. 

Coming through the Chelsea Academy he’s an experienced campaigner in the division having also played at Step 2 for Hemel Hempstead and Slough Town.

First team manager Paul Doswell commented: “We’re really pleased to announce the signing of Billy Clifford.

“One of my summer targets was a technical midfielder and Billy suits that role perfectly.

“He is at the stage of his career where he wants to train in the daytime again, and spend time with his young family. 

“I would like to pay my thanks to Dean Brennan and Rory Fitzgerald at Wealdstone for their understanding and making the deal go through as smoothly as possible.”
