Havant and Waterlooville Football Club are pleased to announce that we will be launching a brand new ‘Club App’ ahead of the start of 2020/21 season.

The App, created by App Central, will give fans a one stop shop for all things Hawks.

Supporters will be able to keep up to date with the latest breaking news around Westleigh Park, with updates straight to your phone, with notifications as well as new features such as buying e-tickets, and exclusive offers such as Matchday scratchcards.

A launch date is yet to be confirmed, and there’s no charge to fans who download from either the App Store or Google Play.

Hawks Director Mark Pope is delighted to launch this new App saying, “At the Hawks I have recognised that as a fan on the terraces, historically our media presence at the club has been poor.

“Over the recent years and in a short time Henry has done and continues to do a remarkable job improving our media position. In the society we live, the importance of Media at your fingertips is so important and to help we have brought in a very experienced Media and Marketing Manager to work alongside Henry in what has become an ever increasing role improving our Twitter, Facebook and general social media presence.

“The new Hawks App was an idea I have been working on for some time, I knew what the Club and the fans needed but unfortunately didn’t have the technical savvy to move it forward and manage it once the App was complete. This is where our media team have been vital along with our partner APP Central in creating the APP for our needs.

“Along with many other features the App will allow fans to purchase tickets online which will help with our compliance to COVID, but more importantly it will allow up to date media, purchasing of tickets for events at The Westleigh and any offers within the Club along with opportunities to enter competitions and much more.

“It really is an exciting time at The Hawks and no one is sitting still.”

A launch date for the app will be announced in due course.
