Havant & Waterlooville are delighted to announce the signing of Sam Matthews, who joins the club until the end of the season.

The exciting winger was unattached after departing National League side Wealdstone. Currently living along the South Coast, the 25-year-old signed for Wealdstone at the end of October and made substitute appearances against Dorking Wanderers and Dagenham & Redbridge either side of a first start against Notts County.

The former Bournemouth, Crawley and Eastleigh man took part in the midweek behind-closed-doors friendly where he impressed the management team.
